Terms & Conditions

Please read our conditions of use carefully as by becoming a member of a Grafters Super Group you will be taken to have agreed to be bound by them. We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time.

By becoming a member of a Grafters Super Group you agree to a code of conduct amongst the members.

GRAFTERS CODE OF CONDUCT

Grafters Super Groups are regional fortnightly networking groups for the construction and property industry.

All members are construction and property businesses or integral support services to the construction and property industry.  Therefore, all members are working on multiple projects where your product and/or service will be actively required.

For this reason, we do not deem it necessary to set minimum numbers of referrals, traffic lights systems or similar.

DO NOT BE A PASSENGER

However, by becoming a Grafters member, you are taking on a responsibility to your fellow members to not be a passenger within your respective group. You demonstrate this by three methods: –

  1. Attending meetings regularly (minimum attendance detailed below)
  2. Taking part in 121s with other members to get to know them and their businesses better
  3. Referring and introducing work/projects to other members where appropriate

MINIMUM ATTENDANCE

  1. Minimum attendance for meetings is set at 70%. This equates to 18 meetings a year for a period of 1hour and 15mins per meeting. We believe this is not too much to ask but enough to establish a relationship with your fellow members.
  2. However, the more you put in to Grafters the more you will get out, so 100% attendance is encouraged.
  3. Low attendance can lead fellow members to believe you are unreliable and not committed to the group and growing your business. This may result in them not introducing you to a project.
  4. Low attendance can lead to a poor visitor experience for our guests which effects the success of the group and its members
  5. If you do not attend 4 meetings in a row you can expect an email from head office reminding you of your responsibilities to your group
  6. If non-attendance continues and/or drops below 70% without good reason, then membership can be revoked, and the seat will be released for occupation by another specialist in your field. This can be without any form of refund.
  7. If you cannot attend a meeting, please message your group director directly. Please do not post it in the WhatsApp group. The posting of absence messages can have a snowball effect that makes other members feel the meeting will be poorly attended leading them to question their own attendance. Any messages posted in the WhatsApp Group may be removed by the group director or head office.

DRIVING

The safety of our members is paramount. Please do not drive whilst dialling into a Grafters Zoom Call. Members dialling in whilst driving may be removed from the meeting by the meeting host and invited to dial back in when the vehicle is stationary.

MONTHLY MEETING FEES

The meeting fee is Grafters Super Groups method of spreading the cost of the overall membership over a longer period of time for members to make it easier financially. It forms part of the membership as explained in every meeting. Non-payment of these monthly fees will result in you being requested to vacate your seat.

REMOVAL OF SEAT

Contravention of the above terms and conditions means membership can be revoked, and the seat will be released for occupation by another specialist in your field. This can be without any form of refund.

CLOSURE OF A GROUP

In the event a group closes due to reduced members all active members will be found an available seat in their nearest active group on the same day and time for the remainder of their membership term.

We may update these terms from time to time at our discretion. Amended terms shall become effective as soon as they are placed upon the Website and your continued use of the Website and the Networking Service constitutes acceptance by you of the updated terms.
